Overview

We are so busy in our everyday lives that we rarely stop to think and be aware of our surroundings. However, this is harmful, as it prevents us from being more calm - both in terms of relaxing our body, but also quieting the internal chatter in our minds.

In this course, you are going to learn more about the fundamentals of mindfulness and its components. Elements such as presence, awareness, self-acceptance and others. All of these contribute to being more present and aware in everyday life, which has multiple beneficial consequences:

  1. Being less stressed and more relaxed
  2. Being in better health (breathing better and being less tense)
  3. Being less negative and judgmental (both about events and yourself)

This course will be especially helpful to you if:

  1. You frequently judge yourself or don't accept certain parts of yoursel
  2. You still ruminate on past events and are not able to gain closure on them
  3. You are frequently stressed with situations
  4. You feel like you are not "present", living in a world full of distractions and escapes

This short course will tell you both about the core principles of mindfulness, as well as some exercises to help cultivate it. By the time you're done, you will be able to cultivate a calmer, more aware, more relaxed presence.

Who this course is for

  1. Anybody looking to calm themselves down more
  2. Anybody looking to better deal with stress

Everyday in my current life when I'm having free time I always/probably prefer to watch anime, play games or maybe read novels rather than socialising with my friends and then as times went by I find myself kinda colorless, whenever I read, play games or watch anime, I sometimes felt missing something and lacking somehow in my life. so when I saw this course it kinda intrigues me and whenever I scroll and searching for more courses that coincides with my hobby, this course always come to my mind like I'm being drawn to this course so with my curiosity at its peak I enrolled to this course to satisfy my curiosity and then it clicked most of the topics expresses me like being socially awkward when I'm with my friends or not going out doing exercises just staying at my home, this course reminds me to get out of my shell, out of my comfort zone and face reality. so this course really helps me to realize my current situation. so thank you very much for creating this course.
