I am a full-time, award-winning Associate Professor in International Politics at the University of Southampton, UK. I published 3 books, numerous articles in prestigious, high-ranking journals and provided analysis for think-tanks, including International Institute for Strategic Studies.
The European Union recognised my excellence in 2019 by awarding me Jean Monnet Chair (EU Professor) of European Security, which carried a grant of £46,000. This allowed me to expand the scope of my research and teaching activities focusing on the changing geopolitics of Europe, Russia, and Asia.
In 2022, I was awarded National Teaching Fellowship, which is the highest university teaching distinction in the UK. It is a highly competitive award for the most talented and innovative teachers.
In addition to university teaching, I have also been teaching online through high quality courses and individual tutoring. There are over 9,000 students who have been learning from my courses and my tutoring.
