Hi, I'm Liam Bowler.
Though I am steeped in a world of body stuff — like fitness and anatomy and even meditation — I grew up a relatively awkward kid with no real body awareness, and definitely no athletic ability. It has been and continues to be a really amazing journey: learning and discovering more of what makes a human being healthy and happy, how we get sick and how we heal from injury, and yes what "the mind" and "the body" share as common ground.
I've been teaching anatomy, mindfulness, bodywork and movement in various forms for over 20 years. I live in Missoula, Montana where I work with clients 1-on-1 in a private practice, and teach regular public classes and workshops. I also host a podcast that has several thousand people tuning in each month and is one of the joys of my life: The Body Awake.
