According to the dictionary “success” is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Therefore in order to consider ourselves successful we should set a goal and therefore achieve it. So how do we set and achieve goals. Below are 5 of the most important elements of success.
Having an absolute belief that you can accomplish your goal is the cornerstone of success. When you believe that you can do it everything changes. Usually people have some kind of belief therefore they start taking actions towards their goals. But only when they see results is when their belief fuel their passion and actions to take even bigger and bigger steps. So why wait for the results to support your belief and not the other way around. If you start by believing that you can do it then you maximize the possibilities of actually accomplishing your goals. Because operating with a belief of accomplishment your level of commitment is higher, you invest more time and effort, you allocate more resources and you spend more money on things that you belief you can accomplish them than on things with an unpredictable outcome. That is why starting a mission with the belief you can accomplish it serves you best.

Having strong reasons why you should accomplish any aim will hold you on path when things are starting to get hard. When the road to your goal is going uphill and things don’t turn the way you were expecting that’s when having strong reasons will keep you on the path. As we saw many times over and over again when people have strong reasons to accomplish something they keep on trying when the rest of the people give up. If you ever catch yourself saying, it’s not worth it, it’s when you didn’t have enough reasons to justify the time and effort required for succeeding in your cause. Strong reasons will keep you up during the night, will keep you focus on your goals and get you back on your feet when you are knocked down, and you will be knocked down many times, my friend.
I strongly believe that massive actions is the core element of success. Usually people don’t succeed their goal not because of lack of effort but because the lack of massive effort. As a motivational quote says "If it was easy everyone would do it." Accomplishing a worthwhile goal needs a lot of effort, time and even money. Many people might be willing to put the time, effort and money but not in a scale that is required to break through and reach a higher goal. High goals required higher levels of effort. You can expect to run a 30% incline hill with the same effort you are putting when you are running on a straight road. Massive, sick levels of actions will get you up in that hill and through the other side where only a few people have gone. Massive actions is what going to get the job done, period.
While massive actions and hard work is the key, working smarter is also crucial. So how you can work hard and smart at the same time. I remember playing monopoly with my little daughter until she started complaining because I was winning the game. That’s when I realise that if you want to win a game you have to know the rules of the game. How do you learn the rules of the game? Well one way is by playing the game again and again, working hard, but the second part is by studying when the best players play the game and learn from them. When I say study, I mean study them deep, find out what their beliefs are, how they think and operate. By copying their thoughts and actions you are actually copying their blue-print for success. So learn from the best, learn from your own mistakes and failure and re-adjust your thinking and actions as a way to cut corners, working smart, so that you can accomplish your goals much faster.
Double down is a blackjack term where you double your bet after you see your initial cards. The point here is that if you identify the thoughts and actions that clearly gets you closer to your goals then just double down on them. If you are sure that a specific set of actions is getting you closer to your goal then don’t waste your time by adding resources but multiply the commitment of your effort, time, resources and money as a way to accelerate your progress towards your goals.
