About Rizwan Qureshi

I am currently a postdoctoral Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center, The University of Texas, Houston. I have about 7 years of teaching and research experience in Machine Learning / Computer Vision / Health-informatics.

I received my Ph.D. from City University of Hong Kong in 2021. My PhD work focused on developing computational models for the analysis, visualization and prediction of lung cancer drug resistance. I also published in IEEE /ACM Transactions on computational biology, IEEE Journal of biomedical and health informatics, IEEE Access, Pattern recognition and IEEE BIBM.

I have taught deep learning to graduate and undergraduate students and supervised MS as well as PhD students. 

I am a passionate teacher and a researcher and I love to train the younger generation of computer scientists.
