Indian bread, especially naan and bathura are most popular in Indian restaurants. In this course you will learn how to make these these breads from scratch. They are not as complicated as they may appear to be. This way you can enjoy restaurant-style bread at home.

What you'll learn
  1. Students will learn to make bread (naan and bathura) from scratch. 
  2. Students will learn the steps from kneading the dough to actually garnishing the bread.  
Requirements

The ingredients needed are: 

For Naan

  • All purpose flour – 2 cups
  • Salt – per taste
  • Sugar – 1 tsp
  • Yogurt – 125 mL
  • Yeast – 2 tsp
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Milk – 1 cup (lukewarm)

For Bhatura

  • 2 tbsp of semolina (suji)
  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 cup of lukewarm water
  • 4 tbsp of plain yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • 1 tsp of Eno
